The Deen Team Warriors

Weekly classes to strengthen the body and the soul.

Classes will be made up of 2 segments:

1. Life Lessons from the lives of the pious conducted by the Ustaadh of each class. This segment will cover lessons from:
The Life of Yusuf AS,
The Sleepers of the cave,
Advices of Luqmaan Al Hakeem,
Islamic Etiquettes from Surah Hujuraat

2. Wrestling, Grappling and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu classes. Through this training participants will build strength, learn technique, increase confidence and grow stamina.

All activities will be supervised and will be practiced in a safe environment using suitable mats and equipment.

Participants from both venues will compete in a central wrestling/Jiu Jitsu tournament in the first week of November.

Salaahs will be performed in Jamaat at the venue.

We will be allocating places on a first come first serve basis. We encourage you to book early to avoid disappointment.

GUIDELINES:

  • All clothing worn should cover the muslim satr area at all times (From the navel to below the knee)
  • Participants should bring a long a set of clothing that is suitable for Salaah
  • Wear a ball guard with suitable underwear that will hold it in place.
  • No learner will be permitted to leave the class without permission of the Ustaadh or Coach
  • Personal Hygiene and coming to class fresh is of utmost importance as this is a close contact sport.
  • Inappropriate language (i.e. profanity) will not be tolerated
  • Clothing worn at camp shall be in accordance with Muslim attire.
  • Respect other people. Keep your hands to yourself, hitting, pushing or shoving will not be tolerated.
  • Students are to follow all the directions of their ustaadhs & coaches.
  • No illegal activities (fighting, stealing, vandalism, drugs, tobacco, Hooka, Hubbly Bubbly, etc…)
  • No weapons of any kind to include pocket knives.
  • No vulgar or profane language, writing, photos, movies or obscene gestures.
  • No indecent clothing.
  • No jeering or mocking. Keep your words encouraging.
  • Respect the property of others.
  • Respect and obey all recreation staff and volunteers.
  • Participation is a MUST in Salaah, training and classes!
  • Failure to obey the above rules will result in progressive disciplinary actions.
  • Depending on the severity of the action, several steps may be taken at once.
  • No Name calling.
  • No bad language.
  • No rough playing.
  • Don’t bully smaller students
  • Clean up your area, put trash in trash cans.
  • listen and do not talk when receiving instructions from coaches and ustaadhs.

Remember, we want you to enjoy this classes & to have a great experience but we cannot have participants who do not abide by the rules and guidelines of the classes. Should you have a problem or require assistance at any time during your stay, please feel free to consult your coach, ustaadh or contact The Deen Team directly.
