Adventure Tarbiyya Camps, Inter Masjid Soccer Tournaments, Sunnah Sports Events and Masjid Programs in exciting formats for boys 13 to 18 years old
As part of giving our youth a holistic upbringing from an educational, spiritual and developmental perspective, the natural environment together with good, wholesome activities play an important role. The outdoor ‘classroom’ is said to be one of the most effective ways in which to empower learners with valuable tools prescribed by Islam such as respect, self-confidence, self-esteem and teamwork.
Our vision is to make learning these life skills an active experience which is fun, engaging and guided by a sound Islamic ethos. In doing so, we make use of various venues to provide your child with an opportunity to develop, inculcate true Islamic values, build friendships and create memories that will last a lifetime. Each activity on our course is carefully selected to meet our objectives. All our activities are then packaged into a fun and relaxed atmosphere.
Our youth camps are for age groups 13 to 18 years old.
It gives us great pleasure to provide you with details of our next youth camp:

The Deen Team 6th Youth Adventure CampThe Deen Team conducted their 6th Adventure Youth Camp which took place between the 16th and 20th March 2019 in Middelburg, Mpumulanga.
As part of providing the youth with a holistic upbringing from an educational, spiritual and developmental perspective, the natural environment together with good, wholesome activities played an important role.
Teenagers between the age of 13 – 18 years old, from diverse races and backgrounds were treated to a weekend of adventure activities such as; paintball, combat archery, fishing, soccer tournament, indoor swimming pool, obstacle courses, human foosball and boat rides. They were also provided with Islamic Tarbiya based programs such as spiritual and moral guidance, practical Ghusal Kafan and burial lessons, self-growth activities as well as team building exercises.
Our vision is to make learning these life skills an active & fun experience, engaging and guided by a sound Islamic ethos. In doing so, we make use of various venues to provide your child with an opportunity to develop, inculcate true Islamic values, build friendships and create memories that will last a lifetime.
The Adventure camp kicked off on Saturday morning with youngsters from different provinces making their way to Middelburg. Throughout the 5 days the young campers were treated to scrumptious meals and were made to interact with fellow camp masters so that they could get to know each other well.
The Deen Team believes the outdoor ‘classroom’ is one of the most effective ways in which to empower learners with valuable tools prescribed by Islam such as respect, self-confidence and teamwork.
Every activity that was conducted had an underlying message of spiritual and physical motivation for the youngsters that took part. A few highlights from the camp were:
Paintball – Team work and determination to reach end goal.
Fishing – Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man how to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.
Soul Searching (Islaamiyaat) – Lessons from the illustrious life of Hazrat Ali (R.A) – Bravery/ Strength and a role model.
Ghusal and Kafan Practicals – How to treat and respect a deceased individual.
Reverse Bicycle Challenge – Change is painful but keep trying till you reach your goal.
Amazing Race – Team Work/ Communication/ Problem Solving
This Camping experience proved to be truly inspirational for all the youngsters and facilitators. An enriching adventure in which friends were made, superb education was enjoyed and where all left inspired. We can all look back with great satisfaction on the experiences we had, and memories we created this school holiday.
The Deen Team would like to take this opportunity to thank all their participants, facilitators, well-wishers and sponsors for your support, time and energy, in whatever capacity, in allowing THE 6TH ADVENTURE YOUTH CAMP to once again be such an outstanding success. We cannot run the organisation without your backing and belief in what we do.
These are just some words of appreciation and encouragement from participants of the camp.
