Introduction

Recent studies have shown that coding provides countless benefits: it promotes creativity, aids in cognitive development and helps to develop problem-solving skills.

Coding also opens up immense opportunities. After all, where would the founders of Google and Facebook be if they did not know how to code? Or Nick D'Aloisio, the 16-year-old who sold his app to Yahoo for $30 million? Regardless of future career choice, learning tech skills has become imperative.

What will you learn?

You will learn how to design, build, debug and test an actual app by coding it. You will code in the languages HTML, CSS and JavaScript, which are among the most popular programming languages in the world.

You will exit with a complete app which will be deployed to an actual device.

The trainers will have testing devices on hand, but kids are welcome to bring their own iOS or Android phones or tablet PC’s for testing.

Imagine the joy of building your own app and running it on an actual mobile device!
